I worked on another embroidery/ watercolor last night using one of the sketches I mentioned in my last post.
This time, I used watercolor pencil instead of regular watercolors. Bad idea. I will not be doing that again. It came out waxy and the colors didn’t blend very well.
Thankfully, the embroidery covered some of the waxiness. I’ll probably touch it up with regular watercolors once I’ve finished the stitching.
I also painted my nails last night – which is something I rarely do. Between typing, crocheting, needlework, playing the guitar/ piano, etc… manicures do not last on me. I found this super quick dry stuff yesterday and gave it a whirl.
I’m really digging the white! And it only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. I think I’m onto something here.
OH! Also, before I forget. We are playing a benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society this Saturday at the Beer Garden in Jersey City. Beer Garden. Hheheh.
